Beached Bum

Sigh.  Looking at pics from my vacation sadden me but I wont’s get started on that.  I went down south thinking I was going to take tons of pics for the blog with the beautiful ocean as a backdrop but I just couldn’t make it happen.  For eight days I avoided applying make-up and even brushing my hair – the ocean provides the best natural waves after all.  This pic was taken on night seven and I pulled it together to run a brush through my hair and apply some mascara and lip gloss.  I needed to remain as comfortable after a day in the hot sun so I put on these boyfriend shorts from H&M for $13.  The mint green, cotton v-neck sweater is an American vacation purchase from J. Crew for $20 and YES! I was inspired by July 2010′s Vogue’s Blake Lively cover.  I couldn’t resist the mint green colour when I saw it.  The silver and turquoise necklace and ring set is from H&M.  I purchased them at the H&M Eaton Centre’s grand re-opening and after 25% off, the two pieces came to about $20.  Shoes are oldies from Browns.  CM
