Sea Of Orange

The colour orange dominated the scene in Amsterdam over the past four days in honour of the Netherlands vs. Spain in the final game of the World Cup. I watched the game in a big field among 200,000 roaring fans! The crowd wore orange t-shirts, boas, wigs, noise makers, hats, anything orange – it was insanity! I borrowed Christine’s $7 onesie for game day and wore orange nail polish – Vermillion by Essie. I rode on the handle bars of a bicycle on the way to the game and my friend rode on the back while someone else drove. Apparently this is normal in Amsterdam. It was scary but F-U-N! Today I’m in Belgium and will be exploring the city of Gent…stay tuned! JD

Amazing!! PS That song in the background is so fitting for JD:)

Orange is the new black! Should we make a quick switch on the BMaid dress colours?

  2. It looks really beautiful…both Amsterdam and your outfit! I love picking out an outfit for a sporting event that includes the team colors but isn’t just a t-shirt or jersey. Great job!

I love Amsterdam. It looks the same as I remember it. Enjoy Paris!!
