Urban Knit Turban

I finally got the Urban Knit Turban I’ve been searching for!  It’s not officially called that, but I think it’s the perfect name.  I didn’t actually find it myself.  The stylish Tiyana Grulovic, Fashion Editor for the Globe and Mail was kind of enough to share her find with me.

It’s from an awesome boutique in Vancouver called The Hach (pronounced hawk, not hatch).  I sent BFF to get it for me and had her mail it over. Thanks Christina!  Best part – it was on sale for $12.  It can be worn as a turban or backwards as a slouchy hat. JD

Rest of my outfit:
New skirt from Zara $49
Cropped sweater from H&M $29
Vintage purse from the Port Colborne Thrift Shop $2

    thanks!

  6. Hi Lee, there isn’t a label in the hat, but try calling The Hach – that’s the store I got it from. Maybe they’ll have some left. 604-566-9611 or info@thehach.com

I just discovered this blog thanks to MSN’s Styleswept, and I love it! Your style looks so similar to mine, which is basically whatever cheap frilly things I can find at H&M and Forever 21. It’s a little more difficult now that I live in NE Saskatchewan instead of Seattle, but your blog can help me see what’s out there when I can’t get to the city all the time!
I’ve always thought there should be a blog about cheap clothes that look really cute, as opposed to the usually ugly outfits I see on Lucky magazine’s page of “What Editors Wear”. Thanks for showing the Zara skirt… I think I’m adding that to my wish list!

LOVE the hat. Saw a pattern online for something like this and they called it a Mobius Hat (you know, like the Mobius strip) and they also had the pattern for the scarf. Now I know what the hat looks like both ways. THANKS! I love your fashion sense!
