This summer has been the most fun. I’ve been up to so much I don’t even know where to begin. I just got back from an amazing summer vacation – it was a little bit city, a little bit country, and a little bit cottage – the ultimate mix of joy. First stop was NYC with the boy and a group of friends. We stayed in Williamsburg and explored a whole lot of Brooklyn including food and artist markets, vintage shops, hidden gem bars, and delicious restaurants.
For this post, I’ll show you the Brooklyn part – markets, cool bars, and delicious food. Stay tuned, more to follow. JD

The Brookyln Flea – great vintage and antique finds. My top c/o StyleMint. Hat Joe Fresh, Bag vintage Coach
Artists & Fleas indoor market – lots of jewelry

Great handmade bathing suits at Artist & Fleas
Thrifting at Beacon’s Closet

Beacon’s Closet
Tchoup Shop – mouth watering New Orleans grub

Smorgasburg – a delicious food market. Same spot as the Brooklyn Flea, but a different day
Mexican fare from The Fat Beagle
Afternoon beer at Radegast Hall & Biergarten – so amazing and authentic

Marlow & Sons – AWESOME little restaurant. Obsessed with the cottage-inspired decor
Marlow Goods – cool stuff for sale in the restaurant
If you’re not into Air BnB but want to stay somewhere cool in Brooklyn, I highly recommend Whythe Hotel – we took a little tour and it was nothing short of spectacular coolness.
Beacon’s Closet is it SHIZZLE!!! Love that place and now I have learned about a few others. Thanks for the post.
Agree! There are so many good things in there. I wish I knew there was a Manhattan location, didn’t notice until I found their website. Gotta go back!
I’ve been meaning to do an Air BnB Brooklyn trip – this all looks like perfection! Looking back here for tips when I make it :)
