Breakfast was calling our name the day after Salvador Darling, so we decided to check out Aunties and Uncles. We’ve attempted to go here on several occasions but our hunger pains always won over the long line-ups. But yesterday we decided to wait it out and we’re so glad we did! This place is just the best. It’s like being in someone’s cottage decorated with everything you would find in probably all of our parents’ basements. The random pictures on the walls, dishware, wallpaper, curtains, everything about it is simply adorable. The food is delicious too – we ate oatmeal banana pancakes and the omelet of the day. We had Dolly Parton’s song stuck in our head the whole time and referred to everything as “potentially new” — you know the one “better keep your hands off my potential new boyfriend.” Great song.
