Bun Master

While washing my face yesterday morning, I didn’t mind the giant bun and hairband look I had going on so I decided to stick with the hair do but make it a little more polished for work.

Because my hair was so big, I decided to wear something tame.  I wore my classic white button down shirt by Hugo Boss with my Joe Fresh paper bag princess skirt, aka my staple piece for Spring/Summer. I’m quite happy to finally start wearing it!

Also shown: headband from Winners, lace-up booties from Spring, trench coat from Zara. JD

Mens FASHION

Last week, amid all the TIFF festivities, FASHION Magazine celebrated  the first birthday of Men’s FASHION Magazine at the BOSS store on Bloor Street.  With Drake on the cover, it was announced that David Livingstone is the new editor-in-chief of this glossy men’s mag and was followed by fashion show of BOSS’s latest fall fashions.  Here are some of the looks.

We were inspired by both the mens and women’s looks.  What are now on our shopping lists?  Double breasted vests, leather pants, grey suede boots and shearling.   Ooohhhh shearling!

Mellow Yellow

For dinner the other night, I was in the mood to wear my yellow check shirt by HUGO (BOSS Red Label). I bought it at a sample sale for $45 and often call it my ugly-pretty shirt. It’s kind of boxy and ugly, but at the same time I like it. I think tucked in is the way to go with this one, otherwise it would just look like a square box.
My jeans are by Rich & Skinny (gift), and braided belt is from H&M ($19). I bought it a size too big so I could tie it like that. Necklace is a newbie from Forever 21 ($11). I love my ugly-pretty top. JD
